These are the photos I took of the trip to Milford Sound. Most of the photos are from that formation.

This, and the next 2 photos, are a panorama of the spectacular Hollyford Valley on the way to Milford Sound.

These mountains, surrounded by clouds, were typical of what I saw on the way to Milford Sound. 

This is a quaint sign in the Mirror Lakes.

The peak of this mountain is completely obscured by clouds. 

These were more moutains with their peaks clouded out. 

This waterfall was running down the mountain side on the way to Milford Sound. 

This is a few waterfalls running down the mountains.

This is the entrance to the Homer Tunnel which cuts through the surrounding mountains and leads to Milford Sound. 

This is the inside of the Homer Tunnel. The effect of this shot, which was unintentional, was created by the camera automatically making a multisecond exposure in low light. 

This is Mitre Peak, so named because of its semblance to a bishop's mitre. 

This is the first of 8 photos taken at various points in Milford Sound which show the surrounding peaks covered in clouds.
